Sensational Surrogacy was founded by April Sosebee, whose heart for this journey was born through her own experience as an Intended Parent. She understands, in a very real and personal way, what it feels like to hope, to wait, and to trust someone else with something deeply meaningful.
Why we exist.
Before I ever imagined owning a surrogacy agency, I was an Intended Parent myself. I’m a mother of six, and two of my children were welcomed through surrogacy with the help of incredible women who chose to carry for us.
Going through the process twice gave me a perspective I could never have learned from the outside. I understand the excitement that comes with taking the next step, but I also understand the waiting, the uncertainty, the questions, and just how much trust you place in the people helping you along the way.
Those experiences stayed with me and ultimately inspired me to create Sensational Surrogacy.
I wanted to build the kind of agency I would have wanted beside me as an Intended Parent—one where people feel known, supported, and comfortable asking questions. An agency where Intended Parents know they’re working with someone who truly understands what it’s like to be in their shoes, and where Gestational Carriers feel valued and supported for the incredible commitment they’re making.
That personal experience continues to shape the way we approach every journey at Sensational Surrogacy.
